TEAM GOAL:
Below is a couple action shots of just one of the many different large scale activities we used to achieve our collaborative team goal of ensuring every student was active in their Friday Physical Education class. Our class sizes which ranged from 60- 90 students were engaged, involved, and active in building a positive culture in our gymnasium through large scale activities and cooperative team building events. The students really gravitated to the concept of encouraging one another, while working together which made for a positive physical education class heading into their weekends!

InDividual Goal:
Attached below is a couple action shots of some of the various instructional methods I used during my internship. (LEFT) Is my students watching a track and field introductory video that was the essence of my professional development project during my internship as you can see under my Professional Inquiry Tab. (Right) Is an instructional method I used by connecting to the community and inviting a University of Lethbridge Pronghorn Athlete to come in and collaboratively along side myself teach our shot put event in the track and field unit. These abilities to incorporate more visual cues and analytical teaching are some of the many instructional methods (direct instruction, peer teaching, exploration of learning, student exemplar, etc) that I used to approach differentiation in learning within physical education during my practicum. The overall goal, was to reach out to the differentiated learners, connect community to schools, and provide teachers with a complementary resource to teach physical education while encouraging each students unique learning styles in order to achieve success in physical education.
